Marian Dörk

Marian is PhD student co-supervised by Sheelagh Carpendale and Carey Williamson. After finishing his final Diplom research project on visual exploration of RSS feeds, he returned to the University of Calgary to continue working with Dr. Carpendale and Dr. Williamson on interactive visualization supporting Web-based information seeking. His main research interests are Web-based information exploration and visualization, semantic web and linked data, space and spatiality in information retrieval, and new media and social movements.
